In her role as Student Volunteer Chair, Carolin Stellmacher supported the conference committee of this year's SUI 2024 conference (ACM Symposium on Spatial User Interaction). From 7 to 8 October, she and her team of dedicated student volunteers supported the organization and successful running of the conference in Trier. The trip to Trier was financially supported by the Central Research Funding of the University of Bremen.
The SUI is dedicated to research on spatial human-computer interaction, which is particularly crucial for immersive technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). Carolin herself is currently working in this field on researching scalable solutions for haptic technologies.
