At Mensch und Computer (MuC) 2024, we were successfully represented with two workshop papers in the Tangible Interaction workshop! Our PhD students Lisa Hesselbarth and Leon Dratzidis shared their research results in the areas of touchless smartphone interaction in kitchen environments and creative image sculpting with generative AI. Lisa Hesselbarth presented her paper, “Sculpting Images: Exploring a Clay-Based Sculpting Interaction to Create Images with Generative AI”, which opens up new perspectives on the interface between physical and digital art. Leon Dratzidis presented his paper entitled “A User-Defined Gesture Set for Touchless Smartphone Interaction in the Kitchen”, which deals with touchless gesture control for smartphones.
