In each department, an internationalization officer is elected at the level of the dean's office as the contact person for the department's international affairs.

The tasks of the internationalization officer lie in the coordination of international activities in the department and the strategic internationalization of the department. Currently, the duties of the Internationalization Officer are performed full-time by the International Office.

In addition, there are other officers at the level of the fields of study or program areas (Erasmus and cooperation officers). Their tasks are coordinated by the internationalization officers in the department.

The internationalization officer of Department 8 supports the application of department members for funds from the university's internationalization fund and, together with his or her representative, carries out the department-wide evaluation and selection of students for exchange places and scholarships.

The round of internationalization officers of all departments meets for 1-2 meetings per semester at the invitation of the Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Diversity.
