Marc Avila, spokesman for the Humans on Mars Initiative, has been director of the Center for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM) and managing director of ZARM Fallturm-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH since 2016. He is also head of the Fluid Mechanics Department at the University of Bremen in the Department of Production Engineering - Mechanical and Process Engineering.
