Janissa Altona and Julia Misonow from IPP at the 23rd German Congress for Health Services Research (DKVF) in Potsdam

Intervention for people living with dementia in Shared Housing Arrangements attracted great interest from audience

Under the direction of Professor Karin Wolf-Ostermann from the Institute for Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP) the scientists Julia Misonow and Janissa Altona took part in the German Congress for Health Services Research in Potsdam.
Julia Misonow as a speaker and Janissa Altona as a co-author have given a presentation which dealt with the effectiveness of an intervention for people living with dementia in Shared Housing Arrangements. In her presentation, Julia Misonow discussed the results on improving the social health and quality of life of those affected. The excellent lecture attracted great interest, especially from colleagues in nursing and health research.
The work of the two scientists was supported by Prof. Dr. Karin Wolf-Ostermann as head of the research team. Through her continuous support and guidance, she plays a central role in the presented paper.
The participation in the congress and the lively exchange with other colleagues shows the commitment of the two researchers to finding solutions for an ageing society and to improving the everyday lives of people living with dementia.
