During his recent stay at IPP as a scholarship holder at the University of Bremen, Nikita Durnev from Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan, had the privilege of participating in various research, career and practice talks. He made valuable contacts in the field of public health, especially since he switched from political science to this field.

The visit included meetings with various faculty, postdocs and PhD students at IPP.

The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including child nutrition, implementation research and social policy changes to improve the health system in Kazakhstan.
