Prof. Dr. Melanie was appointed to the Editorial Board of the new journal BMC Global and Public Health journal at the end of 2023. BMC Global and Public Health publishes impactful research, important achievements and expert opinions in all areas of Global and Public health. The journal aims to promote health and well-being, advance health-equity and policy-making, and supports and promotes Public Health communities across the world.
