SteBs is a project of the at the german quality offensive for teacher education. "The SteBs project pursues the overarching goal of structurally strengthening and further developing the education of vocational school teachers in Bremen.", explains Prof. Dr. Ingrid Darmann-Finck, head of the department Qualification and Curriculum Research and project leader of the SteBs work package at IPP. "In our work package, we designed further training courses for nursing teachers, which were presented to the professional public at the final congress."

The final congress on October 5 and 6, 2023 in Berlin was dedicated to the questions "What has been achieved?" and "What remains?". The professional exchange at the congress was introduced by greetings, rounds of talks and panel discussions. In addition, there were numerous exchange formats.  In the QLB field of action "Education for teachers at vocational schools", the scientific staff of the University of Bremen presented the project SteBs. The perspective of industrial-technical education by the ITB and the perspective of nursing education by the IPP. "The training courses were developed on a scientific basis," explained Andreas Baumeister, Scientific Assistant in the department of Qualification and Curriculum Research at IPP, who had traveled to Berlin.
