The German Society for Social Medicine and Prevention (DGSMP) and the German Public Health Association (DGPH) are critical of the planned Federal Institute for Prevention and Education in Medicine, announced by the Federal Minister of Health, Karl Lauterbach, in the press conference of 04.10.23.

The Institute for Public Health and Nursing Research is a member organization in the German Public Health Association (DGPH), Prof. Dr. Ansgar Gerhardus (IPP) is 1st Chairman of the DGPH.
