The workshop focused on the important role of the welfare state in shaping labor market outcomes for migrant women and the growing influence of female migrants as entrepreneurs who bring innovation and diversity to the economy. It was also emphasized that gender-sensitive policies are necessary to support all women, especially migrant women, in their professional development.
