Panel discussion on AI at Sparkasse Bremen

At the invitation of Sparkasse Bremen and Orbitak AG, Dr. Julian Decius took part in the panel discussion on the topic of artificial intelligence and automation as part of the “Umdenkwerkstatt” on 21.03.2025.

While his podium colleagues Volker Lengsfeld (Merentis) and Marco Niebur (Buhlmann) took the practical perspective and presented the AI-supported tool SIA, Dr. Decius contributed scientific insights into the conditions for success in terms of AI literacy, trust in AI, and AI acceptance culture to the discussion. Special thanks go to Sarah Hölscher from Orbitak AG for moderating the event and to the entire team in the background for organizing it.

This topic focuses on how (informal) learning behavior in organizations changes over days, weeks, and months. Moreover, we analyze the dynamics of work-related learning and how learning trajectories differ between employees.

Designing work contexts

The goal of this thematic focus is to examine conducive conditions for work-related learning, employability, and organizational development, both by managers (e.g., shaping learning culture) and by employees (e.g., job crafting).

New Work requires New Learning

This topic is dedicated to the question of how employees in dynamic work environments can be empowered to learn "what they really, really want" in a self-directed way. The "Learning Opportunities Perception Potential", which helps employees to grasp learning opportunities, is considered crucial here.
