In the past, the following four events were organized by Markus Janczyk:
Winter School "Human Action Control" in Tübingen
From 13th to 16th of February 2017, the International Winter School "Human Action Control" took place at the Department of Psychology of the University of Tübingen, organized by Markus Janczyk. Internationally renowned speakers addressed topics such as theory of event coding, ideomotor theory or the perception action model of visual information processing from cognitive, developmental psychological and neuropsychological perspectives.
49. HexKoP ("Fall meeting Experimental Cognitive Psychology")
The 49th HexKoP was organized by the department "Cognitive and Action" at the department of Psychology of the University of Tübingen from November 4th through 6th, 2016.
Summer School "Human Action Control" in Cluj-Napoca (Romania
From 23.-30. of September 2015 the Summer School "Human Action Control: From Basics to Dynamics" took place at the Universitatea Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca (Romania). This event was funded by the DAAD with funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Science.
First Doctral School General Psychology (1st PhD Summer School Cognitive Psychology)
From June 15 to June 17, 2012 this workshop took place at the University of Würzburg and was founded and organized by Markus Janczyk and Roland Pfister. More information is available here. Since then, the workshop has been held annually at various universities in Germany under the name of A-Dok and has become a fixture for doctoral students in the field.
