The powerANOVA package is intended as a companion to the article "A Tutorial on Using the Paired t-Test for Power Calculations in Repeated Measures ANOVA With Interactions" (Langenberg et al., 2022). It is designed to support researchers in conducting power analyses for repeated measures ANOVAs, where the factor or interaction of interest can be represented as a difference variable (as is the case in 2×2×... designs). The package is not available on CRAN but is hosted on GitHub and can be easily downloaded and installed from there. The most recent version as well as installation instructions can be found here. An interactive version of the package is also available as a Shiny app, which requires no prior installation.
