University of Bremen

The team at the University of Bremen is made up of scientists from the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics and the Research Centre for Eastern Europe at the University of Bremen. Within the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics, the project work is carried out by the "Innovation and Structural Change" working group headed by Jutta Günther. Jutta Günther coordinates the entire research network and works in subproject 1: Modernization Blockades and Productivity Gaps together with Udo Ludwig (University of Leipzig and IWH) and Ann Hipp, who heads this project. At the same time, Jarina Kühn from her team is involved in subproject 6 to investigate the entrepreneurial habitus dispositions of the upheaval generation as a junior scientist, which is being led by the partners at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. In subproject 7, the working group "Innovation and Structural Change" cooperates closely with the department "Politics and Economics" of the Research Centre Eastern Europe headed by Heiko Pleines. Heiko Pleines leads subproject 7, which focuses on the strategies of the 1990s and the actors of transformation. Mareike zum Felde and Charlotta Cordes are active as a young researchers in subproject 7.
