Master's Courses
Students gain a wide-ranging insight into the topics of personnel psychology. International personnel deployment, stereotypes and prejudices, management training, employee interviews, assessment centers and agile work are addressed. One focus is on the practical seminar units on these topics, which allow a direct transfer into practice.
This module extends over a total of two semesters and is continued in the winter semester in Research Project Module II. In this module, students learn to work independently in groups to develop a research question on a current topic in the field of personnel, organisational and business psychology research based on current scientific findings. Based on an extensive literature review, students develop a central research question for their study project. The methodological approach and empirical design are then developed.The final examination is the preparation of a research proposal.
In this module, the theoretical and methodological preliminary work of the previous module from the summer semester is put into practice. The students now carry out their experiment or questionnaire studies in practice, collect and analyze their data and thus answer their research question and the hypotheses derived from the research proposal. The final examination is the preparation of a research report.
