The system accreditation certifies that the University of Bremen has implemented quality assurance systems in the area of study and teaching to ensure that the qualification objectives and quality standards of its degree programs are met.

In this strategic development process, the Production Engineering Department committed itself to expanding quality assurance for the 8 courses currently offered.
The Department Council has assigned the Study Commission the task of being the body responsible for quality assurance in studies and teaching.
The understanding of good teaching goes beyond collecting data and discussing the results and will in future be characterized by the committed work of everyone involved in studies and teaching.
