The Federal Constitutional Court's responsibility for integration

Since its Lisbon judgment in 2009, the Federal Constitutional Court has spelled out the concept of responsibility for integration, which models the obligations of the federal bodies in the context of the European integration process.
We will look at the relevant decisions of the court - in interaction with the decisions of the European Court of Justice - and finally understand the lines of discussion in upcoming decisions, especially with regard to CETA.

Organizational:
The event takes place weekly via Zoom (Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and as a block event from Fri 15.01.21 - Sat 16.01.21 (Fri, Sat), 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. A preliminary meeting will take place on November 4th, 2020 at 10 a.m. c.t. via zoom instead. Participation in the block event requires participation in the preliminary meeting and the previous weekly appointments. The Zoom invitation will be announced via StudIP. Please register for the event with StudIP. It is an event as an elective module with a focus on the fundamentals of law. You can acquire proof of achievement according to § 31 II No. 1 to 4 PO.
