The Dean Professor Dr. Sönke Gerhold bid farewell to Professor Herzog in front of an audience of about 150 people who listened with great interest to his lecture on "Intoxication – Violence – Criminal Law“ in which he discussed in particular the view of criminal law on offences committed under the influence of alcohol.

For the time being, this was the last event in a series of coffee lectures on Domshof, where professors of the Faculty of Law lectured on a variety of topics related to their respective fields of research and discussed these with the audience. The concept of lectures presenting current topics at the Faculty's new location proved very popular with the interested professional public.
