IUV - Institute of Environmental Process Engineering

The Institute of Environmental Process Engineering is concerned with the development and implementation of procedures and measures to achieve sustainable processes and products.

Teaching in the department of production engineering offers opportunity to pass on the latest findings from research as well as industrial practice to the next generation and also to integrate them into projects at an early stage.

The division Environmental Process Engineering of the Institute of Environmental Process Engineering is integrated in the Centre for Environmental Research and Sustainable Technologies (UFT) of the University of Bremen. Concerned is the institute with the development of process strategies as well as approaches to solutions in the following areas: Biotechnological processes, bioprocess engineering, chemical processes and products, porous media as well as reaction engineering.
