Prof. Dr. Lars Hornuf and his former PhD student Dr. Kirsten Hillebrand received the «Best Paper Award» for their study of data philanthropy at the EURAM Conference.

In their paper «Social Dilemma of Big Data: Donating Personal Data to Promote Social Welfare» Dr. Kirsten Hillebrand and Prof. Dr. Lars Hornuf investigate how donating personal data can contribite to social welfare in the age of Big Data. They won the Best Paper Award in the field of Public and Non Profit Management for this paper.  

The EURAM Conference took place in the ZHAW School of Management and Law in Winterthur on June 15-17, 2022.
