This year's conference was organized by the University of Regensburg to discuss a wide range of economic topics with an international audience. Besides the open conference part, special topic of this year's conference was "Climate Economics".

Tobias Wendler presented a research paper on "Natural resources and technology - on the mitigating effect of green tech", written in collaboration with Daniel Töbelmann and Jutta Günther. The paper addresses the impact of green technologies on the use of natural resources in the countries of the European Union. A particular focus is placed on biomass and fossil resources, because these resources in particular are of crucial importance from a socio-economic and environmental perspective.
