The number of refugees has increased significantly in recent years. The reasons for this are wars and disasters of various kinds, which force people to leave their homes, often completely unprepared. Entrepreneurship, whether formal or informal, is a way for many refugees to make a living in often precarious situations.

The context of refugee entrepreneurship differs in terms of limited choice of host country, lack of preparation, uncertain residence permits, or lack of socialization in the host country, among other factors. The goal of the workshop is to dive deeper into the realities of refugee entrepreneurship and discuss, among other things, the important facilitating and hindering factors of refugee entrepreneurship, support services, contextual factors and influences of networks.
