In addition to questions of copyright and data protection, the area of examination law is particularly affected by these developments and appropriate measures are needed to deal constructively with this technological revolution.
In particular, the question arises:
- Can texts and media content created by AI generators even be recognized and detected as artificially generated content?
- And if so, how reliable are the results of AI detectors and how can they be taken into account in examination law?
With such rapid technological developments, there is always a need for state regulation, as is intended in the course of the EU AI Act. What implications does this regulation have in general and specifically for the higher education sector? We want to address these and other questions in this workshop and then discuss them in depth with all participants.
The focus will be on
- AI-VO-E and AI-Act (draft)
- Higher education laws (of the federal states, especially Hamburg)
- Study and examination regulations
