In June 2024, the European elections will take place: the citizens of the 27 EU member states will decide who is to represent them in the European Parliament. With 96 of 720 mandates, Germany has the largest number of representatives. up2date talked to Pia Lange about the importance of the election. Pia Lange is Professor of public law, European law, social law, gender and diversity dimensions in law as well as Director of the Centre of European Law and Politics at the University of Bremen.
