Kenwood House is also famous for its outstanding collection of paintings. Edward Cecil Guinness, 1st Earl of Iveagh, who owned the villa decades later, collected paintings to evoke the atmosphere of an 18th-century [...] exhibition about urban space before going to the King’s Library of George III.
