Documents for enrolment

It is sufficient to submit the documents by post.

You can also drop your documents in the letterbox in the entrance area of the administration building (VWG).

If you are unable to sign the acceptance form in person for valid reasons, you have the option of authorising a person you trust to do so. The authorised person may sign the acceptance form. It is important that the power of attorney and a copy of your identity card as well as a copy of the authorised representative's identity card must also be submitted.

Only a single copy of the university entrance qualification and language certificates must be submitted.

The original certificate can be requested at any time to verify its authenticity.

Students at state or state-recognised universities are required to take out statutory health insurance. Please contact your statutory health insurance company for enrolment so that a digital health insurance certificate can be sent to the University of Bremen.

If you are a member of a private insurance company or have already reached the age of 30, you must be exempted from compulsory insurance by a statutory health insurance company and have this proof sent digitally to the University of Bremen.

We would be pleased if you could send your documents by post or drop them in the letterbox in the administration building. If this is not possible for you, you can also send your documents as a pdf or jpg document by email to sfs.online@uni-bremen.de. Please note that you must sign the declaration of acceptance and email this document with your signature!

The documents for enrolment must be submitted within 7 days after admission has been granted.

Language certificates must be submitted by 15 September / 15 March of each year.
