Transfer strategy
The University of Bremen understands transfer as a broad-based, always research-based exchange process that encompasses cooperation and dialogue between its academics in research and teaching with stakeholders from society, culture, education, politics and business.
Following an intensive participation and discussion process, the Academic Senate adopted the University of Bremen's transfer strategy in July 2019. This strategy once again emphasises the great importance of knowledge and technology transfer at the University of Bremen. At the same time, the general university strategy 2018-2028 for the field of transfer is being concretised.
Transfer Magazine 2025
How do scientific ideas give rise to social innovations? The University of Bremen explores this question in its latest transfer magazine. Under the motto “On your marks, get set, transfer!”, the magazine—presented in a modern, magazine-style format—guides readers through the phases of knowledge and technology transfer—from conceptualization to initiation and implementation, all the way to making an impact on society and the economy.
Culture of transfer
The University of Bremen aims to be an active and successful transfer university. This requires the establishment of a transfer culture that is shared and practised by all members of the university. The transfer culture at the University of Bremen is characterised by curiosity, naturalness, respect and professionalism.
