* Additional funding can be requested in the proposal to cover the following eligible costs when these are necessary to carry out the proposed work: (a) "start-up" costs for Principal Investigators moving to the EU or an Associated Country from elsewhere as a consequence of receiving the ERC grant, and/or (b) the purchase of major equipment, and/or (c) access to large facilities, and/or (d) other major experimental and field work costs, excluding personnel costs.

 

 

2.  Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF), available for experienced researchers (in possession of a PhD at the call deadline) with up to 8 years research experience after PhD . Open MSCA calls can be found in the funding & tenders portal.

European Fellowship (EF) 
  • Research stay in Europe
  • Postdoctoral researchers with up to 8 years of full-time postdoctoral research experience, of any nationality
  • 12 to 24 months in a member state or associated country (+ optional: 6 months in the non-academic sector in Europe)
 
Global Fellowship (GF) 
  • Research stay in a third Country and return period
  • Postdoctoral researchers with up to 8 years of full-time postdoctoral research experience in a member or associated state or who have undergone a long-term research stay (>= 5 years without a break) in Europe
  • 24 to 36 months in a third country including a mandatory 12-month reintegration period back to the member state or associated country after the completion of the outgoing stay (+ optional: 6 months in the non-academic sector in Europe)
