FIT in Bremen

From campus to the job market

  • „FIT“ - Promoting Academic Success and Labour Market Integration of International Talents

The DAAD project "FIT from campus to the job market" at the University of Bremen is jointly administered by the Career Center, the Studierwerkstatt and the International Office as well as in cooperation with the HERE AHEAD Academy and the Language Center of the State of Bremen. It covers the entire student life cycle of international students and graduates.

The project aims to help prospective international students, doctoral students and graduates develop realistic prospects for starting a career in the region and in Germany as well as for establishing contacts with employers in the region. We would like to connect the cultural, language and professional skills acquisition programmes that are already in place and expand these by adding new programmes.

These programmes include, for example, language preparation courses for university studies, training courses on extracurricular skills, individual counselling and workshops on the transition from studying to work life, support programmes for the application strategies and the preparation of application documents as well as the special language courses "German for the job market".
