Study description
In the course of globalization, mathematicians are in demand not only nationally but also internationally, not only in science but also in almost all areas of the job market, such as data science, climate modeling, finance and insurance, or software development. This English-language program prepares you well for future requirements in academia and in the global job market as it is designed to be flexible and students can choose between two options: a theory-oriented program, where students deal with mathematical topics at the cutting edge of research within a special format, the reading courses, and an application-oriented variant, in which students study in addition a second subject, such as biology, chemistry, electrical engineering, geosciences, computer science, philosophy, physics, production engineering, or economics.
