Study description
The Master's degree programme in Psychology (M.Sc.) at the University of Bremen is designed to train a broad range of psychological skills for research and practice. The focus is on behavioural and neuroscientific approaches in basic research and their possible applications in different areas of psychology and beyond. The participating working groups provide research-oriented training in decision-making, developmental and social psychology as well as behavioural genetics. At the same time, students deepen their knowledge in the neurosciences and central application subjects such as health psychology and work and organisational psychology. Advanced methodological learning content in psychometrics, change measurement and mathematical modelling underpin the spectrum.
Please note: The degree programme does not include any content in clinical psychology. This means that the Master's degree does NOT qualify students to take up psychotherapy training under the "old" system.
