Research Data Day on June 18

On June 18, the U Bremen Research Alliance (UBRA) invites you to Research Data Day on the University of Bremen campus. At the event, researchers and professionals in administration and technology can find out about best practices and current challenges in handling research data.

Participants can exchange ideas with experts and other employees in various formats: six lectures, three workshops, and a world café will be available. Ten information islands invite participants to share their experiences and the program also includes an evening event in the House of Science at 5:30 p.m.

The topics are just as diverse as the participating research institutions: For example, there will be talks on digitization in museums, research data management for tropical data in the natural and social sciences, and the European Open Science Cloud. The program will be held partially in German and partially in English.

Participation in the Research Data Day is free of charge. Seats for the lectures are limited and registration is required. Interested parties can register for the evening event until June 7. The registration link and further information can be found at https://www.bremen-research.de/en/research-data-day-2024.
