University of Bremen Launches New Image Video

Interdisciplinary, research focused, cooperative, flat hierarchies – these are the words the University Rector, Professor Bernd Scholz-Reiter, uses to describe the “Bremen Spirit” in a new promotional video. A unique feature of the eleven-minute clip: The seven modules that make up the clip can be accessed individually. You can view the whole film on our youtube chanel. The clip was produced by Michael Wolff (“fact+film”) in cooperation with the University Press and Communication Office.

  • The Bremer Spirit (0:53 min.):
    In “The Bremer Spirit” module the Rector lauds the spirit prevalent at the University of Bremen which in 2012 was pivotal in elevating the institution to the status of University of Excellence.

  • Teaching: Interdisciplinary and based on egalitarian principles (1:44 min.):
