At the same time, they foster communication among students of other nations and thus make an important contribution towards international understanding and integration.

Creating green together!

Urban Gardening is a project developed by the kompass team, the AStA, Students for Future Bremen and BUNDjugend Bremen, in cooperation with Faculty 2 Biology/Chemistry and Carpentry at the University of Bremen.

What are we doing?
With the project we want to create a unique space where international and German students can share their experiences and knowledge about their culinary background. We also want all students to have the opportunity to build a stronger connection to nature and the food they eat. Equally important to us is the promotion of a sense of community and teamwork.

The project offers the opportunity to garden, relax and enjoy nature in the middle of campus - whether you are a professional or a beginner. We plant vegetables, herbs and flowers and create our green oasis together.

So come along to the next event and become part of our green network!
