This year there will around 20,000 students will be enrolled at the University of Bremen, of whom about one third are first-semester students. This week the campus started to fill up – for it was the first week of the new Winter Semester 2014/15. Following an attention grabbing orientation week for the „freshers“, it’s time to get down to the serious business of studying. Experience shows that during the first week of the semester the campus will be especially crowded – so bring some patience with you if you have to line up for something. This year the University Press Office has produced a video clip (in German only) to set the mood for the new semester.
