The visit included a tour of the University of Bremen's Cognitive Systems Lab and a tour of MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences at the university.
Another stop was the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, a non-university institute with which the University of Bremen works closely. Conversations and discussions were characterized by a great interest in matters of basic and applied research. “I am delighted by the intensive reflection on technical and societal challenges and the very productive exchange between science and business,” stated President Jutta Günther.
