Today (November 9) is Education Day or »dies academicus«. The University Faculties hold decentralized events dedicated to discussion on how to improve the quality of academic studies and education. In the afternoon there will be a central information event and poster presentation on the ongoing project titled ForstA as ForstAIntegriert in the context of ‘QualityPakt Lehre’ [Quality pact for Teaching]. The day‘s closing highlight is the presentation of the Berninghausen Prize for outstanding academic teaching. The events are scheduled as follows:

Time: starting at 4:15 p.m.

Schedule:

• 4:15 p.m. – A talk by Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoffmeister on ForstAintegriert
• 4:30 p.m. – Update.....examples of good practice in the context of ForstA so far
• 5:15 p.m. – Poster presentation of the ForstA projects in neighboring room B 3010
•  6:00 p.m. – Presentation of the Berninghausen Prize 2016 in room B 3009
