Maths? Informatics? Digital Media? You want to study something in the area of science and maths but still don’t know what subject to choose?! The lecture series EINBLICKE can help you make up your mind. Every year during the Easter break, high school students in the 11th to 13th grades have the opportunity to spend a day at the University to get better acquainted with the degree courses offered by the science, mathematics and engineering Faculties.
EINBLICKE means attending sample lectures, visiting laboratories, taking part in experiments, and making contact with members of faculty and their students. Participants not only have the chance to inform themselves about what is taught in the subjects: in courses, practical exercises and talks with professors and students they can find out whether their preconceptions are correct, have all their questions answered, and learn about career prospects in the different fields. Taking part in EINBLICKE Day makes it easier to know which degree course to enroll on. The next opportunity is on March 30 and 31, 2016. You have to register for it online.
