Study description
Slavic Studies/Russian as a teaching subject is offered as a cooperative degree programme by the University of Oldenburg. The subject can be studied in the two-subject Bachelor's programme as a complementary subject or as a second Bachelor's subject with the teaching option Gymnasium. The other subject is studied at the University of Bremen. Students are enrolled at both universities, but their data is only managed by the University of Bremen. Co-operative students are exempt from paying the tuition and administrative fees of the co-operating university.
The programme is focused on Slavic philology and the languages, literatures, and cultures of Slavic-speaking peoples. At the University of Oldenburg, Russia and Poland are the main focal areas, but Ukrainian is also included.
