University Foundation and Trust Foundations Award Around 90,000 Euros for Innovative Projects

The University of Bremen Foundation's Board of Trustees, together with representatives of other foundations, has selected 17 projects in four categories to be supported with a total of 90,000 euros. This was preceded by a call for proposals in said four categories. 30 proposals were submitted.

The individual categories were educational justice and education for sustainable development, medicine / health, help for refugees, and University of Bremen conferences. Funding was made possible by the University Foundation, the Manfred and Ursula Fluß Foundation, the Iris and Hartmut Jürgens Foundation – Chance for a New Life, the Karin and Heinz-Otto Peitgen Foundation, and the Dr. Heino Rose Foundation.

A total of 30 project proposals were submitted. The five foundations, each taking into account their own areas of focus and funding strategies, selected 17 projects. They will support some of them jointly this year with a total of almost 90,000 euros. Three projects are also expected to be co-financed by the Kellner & Stoll Foundation for Climate and the Environment.
