Study description
Management information scientists plan and develop information systems in companies and public administrations as well as for the private sector. They analyze business processes, design suitable IT support for them and use IT to develop new types of business models. The aim of this program is to train students in a mediating role in the field of business information processing and to give them an understanding of both the user's and the developer's perspective. To this end, students learn the basics of business administration on the one hand and the core competencies for developing software in the form of application systems on the other. At the same time, the foundations are laid for a research-oriented master's program.
