The bachelor's program in Economics provides an intensive methodological training in addition to the fundamentals of economics and business studies during the first half of the study program. By choosing a track within the economics major and continuing the sound empirical training, the study is continued in the second half of the study. In the subject-specific context of the major “Economic Evolution, Human Behavior and Policy”, key competencies such as scientific work and teamwork are taught. The Economics program is studied as a six-semester full-time program and thus has a scope of 180 credit points (CP). One CP corresponds to a working time of 25 to 30 hours.
The program in the minor subject of Economics conveys basic concepts and general contexts in the essential subject areas of economics and business studies and is studied together with a profile subject. It has a scope of 60 credit points (CP).
