How could humans live on Mars? What does music have to do with math? And why is diabetes no picnic? The lectures, which will take place from March 21 to 23, 2023, will address such questions. Teachers can now register with their classes (3rd to 6th grade) on the Kinder-Uni website at www.uni-bremen.de/kinderuni.
March 28 to 30: Workshops on Campus
The Kinder-Uni workshops will take place on campus from March 28 to 30 – that is the Bremen Easter break. In these workshops, kids can become young researchers themselves – for example by building underwater vehicles, figuring out how robots learn, and researching as a group what defines social cohesion. The workshops are run in small groups of up to 20 people. Tickets are now available online for one euro on the Kinder-Uni website at www.uni-bremen.de/kinderuni or directly from Nordwest Ticket.
The Kinder-Uni is organized by the University-School Outreach Office at the University of Bremen. The individual lectures and workshops are contributed by numerous committed scientists from the university and the institutes in the Uni Bremen technology park. The Kinder-Uni is financially supported by Sparkasse Bremen.
