Dr. Mandy Boehnke, Vice President for International Affairs, Academic Qualification, and Diversity, is a new member of the DAAD Executive Committee. She was elected in Bonn on June 20, 2023, along with other new members of the board. The new committee will begin its term in January 2024.

Among the new members of the Executive Committee of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) are nine individuals experienced in international work or university management, as well as three student representatives.
At the DAAD General Assembly, current DAAD President Joybrato Mukherjee was also unanimously elected for another term. His second term will begin on January 1, 2024, and end on December 31, 2027. The representatives of the DAAD member universities and student bodies also unanimously elected the current Vice President Muriel Helbig for a second term as Vice President.

In addition to the new Executive Committee, part of the Board of Trustees of the world's largest academic exchange organization was also elected, including Prof. Dr. Kerstin Mey from the University of Limerick, Ireland, which, much like the University of Bremen, is part of the YERUN European university network.
