The bachelor's program in Business Studies provides an intensive methodological training in addition to the fundamentals of business studies and economics during the first half of the study program. By choosing a major and undergoing a sound empirical training, the study is continued in the second half of the study.
In the subject-specific context of the major studies, key skills such as scientific work and teamwork are taught alongside specialist knowledge.
The bachelor's degree program in Business Studies is divided into a total of six areas of study:
1. Business Studies comprising the modules:
- Accounting and Accounts
- Marketing
- Finance and Investment
- Human Resource Management and Organization
- Value Creation Processes and
- Company Taxation or International Business.
2. Economics comprising the modules:
- Microeconomics and
- Macroeconomics.
3. Data Literacy comprising the modules:
- Mathematics
- Data Analysis
- Statistics
- Data Management and
- Empirical Training.
4. Major with the following profiles, one of which must be selected:
- Finance, Accounting and Taxation
- Marketing and
- General Management and Logistics.
5. Module Bachelor Thesis:
6. General Studies with the teaching of key competencies that complement the subject of study:
- WiWi Onboarding Challenge
- Law
- Project Management
- Sustainable Management and
- other electives such as language courses.
The Business Studies program is studied as a six-semester full-time program and thus has a scope of 180 credit points (CP). One CP corresponds to a working time of 25 to 30 hours.
