The master program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with Management is based on the successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with Management or comparable knowledge. The master program imparts the key technical know-how both in the area of business administration and in electrical engineering. The elective courses and the master project supplement the specialization within the program.
Für die Aufnahme in einen Masterstudiengang ist der Abschluss eines Studiums auf Bachelor-Niveau Voraussetzung. Die fachspezifischen Zugangsvoraussetzungen sind in der aktuellen Aufnahme-/Zulassungsordnung (s. u.) geregelt. Darin enthalten sind auch die unterschiedlichen Fristen für die Nachweiserbringung.

The program offers a combination of elements from the classical study subjects of business administration and electrical engineering. There are two main areas of which students choose one:
Both focus areas include managerial and electrotechnical modules. The experimental training is conducted at the laboratories of the respective institutes at the faculty of physics and electrical engineering.
Internships are generally recommended, but not obligatory. Students will be assisted during their search by the Career Center/ Office of Corporate and International Relations.
A semester abroad is generally recommended, but not obligatory. It is best to integrate a semester abroad into the study course after the third semester. Because of the specialization of the students, there is more flexibility in regard to approval of study units.
Industrial Engineers with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Information Technology have multiple opportunities in a wide range of possible occupations. Particularly in areas such as technical production, logistics, controlling and marketing / sales, the professional opportunities for master graduates are excellent, thanks to the combination of technical and commercial know-how. In the service sector, engineers with an economic background are increasingly sought for as experts, for example, in corporate consulting.
